Fr. Horkan gave the following talks during Lent of 2014 at Saint James parish. They are entitled: You are the Light of the World: Pope Francis’ and Bishop Loverde’ Challenge to be Joyful Friends of Christ. They are a commentary on the Christian meaning of Joy, with particular focus on Pope Francis’ 2013 Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium (The Joy of the Gospel) and Bishop Loverde’s 2013 Pastoral Letter Go Forth With Hearts on Fire.
